Team Alice in Lemmon, SD

We made our annual trip to Lemmon, South Dakota to visit Bonnie, Jim, & Carolyn. We had a great time and experienced NO issues with the motorhome with the possible exception of Bob forgetting some hook-up items.

We stopped at Deadwood on our way up to Lemmon. We had a buffet dinner at one of the casinos after parking at the Fish 'N Fry campground. There were old west re-enactments on the street and in some buildings which were historical and entertaining. Unfortunately, we failed to take pictures.

We really enjoyed our visit in Lemmon even though Bonnie worked us "HARD" (just kidding). We were able to help paint their "red house" to become a "grey house". The humidity & temperatures limited our painting. We had to wait until 9:00 AM or so for the humidity to reach an acceptable level. And then we had to quit around 3:00 to 4:00 PM because the temperature exceeded 85 degrees. There seemed to be an evening storm almost every evening. One was strong enough that we pulled in the motorhome slides to prevent wind & hail damage.

It was really nice to see "Nana" in the "white house". We still like the front porch on the white house because people passing by will oftem stop to socialize and share events of the day. The rear patio on the "grey house" is not conducive to the same socializing since it's difficult to see from the street and people are not passing by as readily.
